Easy Iced Hot Cocoa and Chocolate-Coconut Yogurt Parfait #ad

The holidays are fast approaching which means my days are getting busier and busier. Wife, mom, full-time college student, and cheer coach are the titles that keep me busy from sun up and sun down, which means I need a kick start to my day. Thanks to International Delight and Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt I get that kick start I need, in a tasty way. Two of my favorite morning start-me-ups are Iced Hot Cocoa and a Chocolate-Coconut Yogurt Parfait.

I can pick up my products for my morning routine right at my local Publix, so I always have them on hand! Creating this morning breakfast is quick and easy! Let’s start with the Chocolate-Coconut Yogurt Parfait. This recipe only has 3 ingredients and little effort is required.

Chocolate-Coconut Yogurt Parfait

  • 1 container Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt in toasted coconut vanilla flavor
  • Semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • Almond Slivers or granola
  • Coconut flakes (optional)

To make the parfait you simply layer the ingredients starting with the almonds or granola, followed by the chocolate chips and then the yogurt. Repeat until you have used all the yogurt! Doesn’t it look scrumptious? Who wouldn’t want to start their day with this yummy treat!

This would also be great for a Thanksgiving dessert option! The parfait looks delish when put into a glass, see-through container because your guests can see the layers. If you don’t want to do as big of a parfait, get shot glasses and do shooter size. They are a great way for guests to enjoy the parfait but still have some room for those other Thanksgiving desserts.

Another great way to start my day is with a little bit more chocolate (because let’s be real, who can ever really have enough chocolate). This Iced Hot Chocolate is a recipe both myself and my kids love. Again, it’s a recipe with just a few ingredients (so less mess in your kitchen) and is ready in a snap.

Iced Hot Cocoa

  • 3/4 cup Internation Delight Iced Coffee in either vanilla, caramel, or mocha.
  • 2-3 tbsp hot cocoa mix, without marshmallows
  • 1-1.5 cups ice
  • Whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate syrup (for topping cocoa and coating glass..hey everything is more fun with sprinkles)

Instructions

  • Add the hot cocoa mix to the iced coffee and stir until dissolved.
  • Put ice in a blender and pour coffee/cocoa mixture over ice and blend until desired smoothness.
  • Dip rim of cup into chocolate syrup and then dip in sprinkles
  • Add iced hot cocoa to cup and top with whip cream if desired
  • Drink and enjoy!

This super easy drink is a fun and tasty way to start your day!

If this is a little bit too sweet for you, but you still want to start your day with something sweet, try adding International Delight creamers to your regular coffee. Each and every morning I start with a cup of coffee and either the French Vanilla or Hazelnut creamers.

No matter what you have going on this holiday season, take a moment for yourself and enjoy both of these scrumptious recipes. Share or don’t share (because sometimes we need to have a special treat for ourselves), it’s up to you! Which of these two recipes are you looking forward to trying first?
